Terms of Service

ZeroKit provides browser-based utilities for developers and general users (for example formatting, encoding, image and PDF helpers, and optional AI-assisted features). The Service is offered for informational and productivity purposes. We may add, change, or remove tools or features at any time.

You may use most of the Service without an account. Where sign-in is available, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction (and at least the age required by your provider for OAuth sign-in).

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or to upload, share, or generate content that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users, or our systems (including probing, scraping, or automation that violates our rate limits or robots policy).
• Use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, spam, or harassment, or to infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Misrepresent your identity, misuse OAuth or payment systems, or reverse engineer the Service except where allowed by law.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or others.

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service—for example to process requests on our servers when you use server-backed features, to store encrypted pastes or short links as configured, and to display outputs back to you. You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate these Terms.

Outputs from AI-assisted tools are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating results before relying on them (especially for code, security, or compliance decisions). Do not submit highly sensitive secrets to AI features unless you accept the risks described in our Privacy Policy.

Certain features may be offered on a paid or "Pro" basis. Fees, billing cycles, and taxes are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Paid features and API access may be subject to fair-use limits or quotas to prevent abuse. Failure to pay or chargebacks may result in suspension of paid access. Refunds, if any, follow the policy stated at purchase or required by law.

The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites, OAuth providers, payment processors, and AI APIs. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEROKIT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) U.S. $100, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

You agree to defend and indemnify ZeroKit and its operators against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date for material changes to the Terms where practical. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without notice if we believe it is necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the deployment you are using, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
